Photo of the Month
Imagine living at the top of the world - wOw. We took this photo in the beautiful Kigezi region of far southwest Uganda. For a slide-show of our trip to this area, see the post "A Quick Trip to the Southern Hemisphere" (Dec 11, 2008).
Simon & Aggie work as missionaries in Kampala, Uganda, volunteering with International Missionaries for Christ (IMFC). They also have their own ministries: "Aggie's Arts" which helps impoverished women in Kampala's urban slum areas, and "Kisoro Kids" which assists needy families to educate their children. Their sending & facilitating church is Life's Journey Church, Huntsville, Alabama.
Simon was born in Australia and lived there until 1995 when he moved to the U.S. to study and work in Atmospheric Science. In 2007 he moved to Kampala, Uganda, and married Aggie.
Aggie, born in Uganda, is the mother of 6 children, understands 50 of Uganda's ~50 languages, and speaks 8 fluently! For more info, go to www.ugandajourney.org
