Some people are forced to live in a virtual storm-water drain where their homes flood every time it rains. On top of this, they worry about the safety of their family as children are sometimes abducted and killed for ritual sacrifices. The urban slum area of Sebina/Mayinja that we've been working in for the past 6 months is such a community. Watch in the video below.

- Simon & Aggie work as missionaries in Kampala, Uganda, volunteering with International Missionaries for Christ (IMFC). They also have their own ministries: "Aggie's Arts" which helps impoverished women in Kampala's urban slum areas, and "Kisoro Kids" which assists needy families to educate their children. Their sending & facilitating church is Life's Journey Church, Huntsville, Alabama. Simon was born in Australia and lived there until 1995 when he moved to the U.S. to study and work in Atmospheric Science. In 2007 he moved to Kampala, Uganda, and married Aggie. Hey Simon How are you? I am so glad that i found your blog. We met this past year in Kampala. I'm not sure if you remember or not. I've been twice. Once with Stephen Carson and then last year we stayed with Stephen and Kaye. I'm sure you know them. See the pictures and the videos of Douglas made my day. It was good to see old friends.
