Take a look at Nateete ("Nah-tehh-tay"), one of Kampala's many urban slums. On top of flooding, poverty and disease, this community also has a lot of problems with alcoholism and witchcraft. Listen to what some of our IMFC co-workers have to say about life in an area like this.
IMFC began working in Nateete last month and will be investing in this community for the next 5 months.

- Simon & Aggie work as missionaries in Kampala, Uganda, volunteering with International Missionaries for Christ (IMFC). They also have their own ministries: "Aggie's Arts" which helps impoverished women in Kampala's urban slum areas, and "Kisoro Kids" which assists needy families to educate their children. Their sending & facilitating church is Life's Journey Church, Huntsville, Alabama. Simon was born in Australia and lived there until 1995 when he moved to the U.S. to study and work in Atmospheric Science. In 2007 he moved to Kampala, Uganda, and married Aggie. I went to that area last January when I was last there. It was the worst I have seen, even after living in Kampala for two years. It was heart-breaking!
Watching this video, hearing the voices, and seeing the faces of these men that I love so much...Benon, Douglas, Joseph...it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you all so much for posting these videos. It helps me to feel like I am still connected and lets me know how to be praying! Love to all!!!
