Hey Sharon & Sarah, Uncle Tim here :) Thanks for the video - was cool to see you both, and seeing you answer Simon's questions (hehe).
Sharon: Designing is cool - you can design lots of stuff... My job till recently was to design and program computer games. If you can design people, that'd be even better *grin*.
Making things is cool, as you can make something and look at it, when its finished and think 'hey, I did that!' :)
Sarah: Mopping things is good as its nice to make things clean (*grin* I know it wasnt that, just 'having a go'). But English, Watching things...movies, all good! Maybe you could become a Movie Director or something! Make a film yourself! :)
I must say It's nice to meet you all like this! (Thanks Simon :D )
Joshua - Keep going with that soccer dream. I used to play soccer when I was about 7-10 years old. I was smaller than everyone else in my grade, but...BUT, I was fast. And apparently did OK. I was right wing. (not quite centre, but hey..right wing is kinda ok, heh). Loved it.
Oh, and books, I cant survive without a book. ALWAYS READING. Heh...uh...well. Right now I dont have a book to read...which might explain why I'm still up at about 2am. If I had a book to read right now, I'd just be reading it, and not typing this *tired grin* ------------
Sorry if I get this wrong, but Abi? Did I get your name right? Major sorries if not...
DRUMS. Mate.....I have ALWAYS wanted to play the drums. A friend of mine in high school (about hmmm...15 years ago now), had a drum kit, and the first time I sat down on it, and somehow managed to put out a beat...it feels so great. I STILL want to get a drum kit and learn how to play. Am thinking I'm maybe a bit old now, but maybe not, *laughs*.
Who knows, but you should follow that dream as much as you can. Playing drums is awesome :)
Bryan? (sorry if i spelt your name wrong). Mate...you seem to be majorly 'on the path' there. Nice! Oh, and thanks for the massively loud birds in the background *grin* I always actually liked maths...it MAKES SENSE. (unlike females *cough, cough*. OOps, I didnt say that, did I? hehe). Seriously though, yep, maths, I liked. Economics and Business..they kinda stem from that hey. Cool, VERY cool to hear that you are persuing a career there. I wish you the best with that, though it sounds like you dont really need my good wishes ;D
Ok this is a really long 'post'. Am actually messaging Simon as I type this, and should probably have just emailed it, but hey...
Lots of love to you all... You'll have a brand new cousin soon! Micah Paul Paech. (He's due tomorrow week (24/7), but could come anytime..).
Will send pictures and all that (simon: can you get sms's? I cant send them, but carly can. If not, all good...can just post on farcebook or email etc...).
Simon & Aggie work as missionaries in Kampala, Uganda, volunteering with International Missionaries for Christ (IMFC). They also have their own ministries: "Aggie's Arts" which helps impoverished women in Kampala's urban slum areas, and "Kisoro Kids" which assists needy families to educate their children. Their sending & facilitating church is Life's Journey Church, Huntsville, Alabama.
Simon was born in Australia and lived there until 1995 when he moved to the U.S. to study and work in Atmospheric Science. In 2007 he moved to Kampala, Uganda, and married Aggie.
Aggie, born in Uganda, is the mother of 6 children, understands 50 of Uganda's ~50 languages, and speaks 8 fluently! For more info, go to www.ugandajourney.org
